With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Valerie Warner (Rockford, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jay and Violet Eloisa Thomas (Trank); her husband Bill; and her son Brian. She is survived by: her children, Gregory Warner (Thelma), Paula Olson (Dennis) and Amy Diestelhorst (Jason); her grandchildren, Becky, Alex (Hayley), Allison and Matthew; her great grandchild Finley; and her siblings, Sharon Reitsch and John Thomas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rockford Public Library Foundation, or Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden.
