He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincenzo Verace and Josephine Verace (Gulotta); his wife Gloria M. Ruefer; his children, Jim Verace, Vince Verace and Anne Lindquist; and his brothers, Charles Verace and Samuel Verace.
He is survived by : his children, Michael Verace (Jeannie), Susan McGarry (Michael) and Ronald Verace; his sister Anita Mioni (Tony); his son-in-law Thomas Lindquist; his grandchildren, Sarah Verace, Camille Boccia (Lex), Bridget Roskamp (Jared), Michael McGarry (Abigail), Gunnar, Lael and Leif Verace; and his great grandchildren, Ziya, Eszie, Isaiah, Luke and Andrew. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
