Virginia L. Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 27, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Virginia L. Smith of Rockford, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoni Piekarski and Wladyslawa "Lottie" Piekarski (Nowak); and her siblings, Walter, Irene, Estelle, Helen, Rena, Harriette, Stephanie and Mary.

She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Ann Roxworthy (Steve); her son-in-law Steve; and her granddaughters, Katie and Ella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Charitable giving was important to Virginia…if you are so moved, she would surely appreciate a small donation to any of her favorites, including: Rockford Rescue Mission, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Joseph's Indian School, and the Mouth & Foot Painting Artists (she kept every calendar that came in the mail).
