Walter W. Kersting Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 91, Walter W. Kersting (Rockford, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter W. Kersting to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Kersting and Elfriede Kersting; his siblings, Günther and Anneliese; and his grandson Erik Plaza.
He is survived by: his wife Erika; his children, Roy Kersting (Marcia) of Sparks, Heide-Marie Goellner (Alvin) and Annette Mancuso (Mark) of Dodgeville, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Nicole, Conrad (Andrea), Natalie and Garrett; and his great grandchildren, Kai and Oliver. He is also survived by friends as well as several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3300 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church (3301 Corbridge Ln, Rockford, IL 61107).
