He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William R. Coon and Joyce "Peggy" Coon (Sarver); his wife Rose A. Gilbert; his children, Misty Lego, William Coon and Joseph Coon (Christina); his brother Ronnie Coon; his half-brother Mike Perkins (Mary); and his aunt Irene Coon (Robert "Bobby").
