He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Jerald Bowman and Joan Bowman (Hopkinson); and his brother Christopher Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Jennifer Bowman of Rockford, IL, Matthew Bowman (Emily) of San Diego, CA, Alison Bowman of Machesney Park, IL and Hilary McIlvain (Brodie) of Dallas, TX; his granddaughters, Hannah, Alice, Anna and Helen; and his siblings, Kimberly Bowman, James Bowman and Jerald Bowman (Carrie).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Rockford Park District Foundation for a memorial to be established at a later date.
