He is survived by: his wife Clarice Murphy; his son Michael Murphy (Susan); his grandchildren, Meg Palmer (Loren), Kaitlyn Murphy and Jonathon Murphy; his great grandchildren, Maggie, Poppie and Lander; and his sisters, Elizabeth DeBaere and Shirley Barber. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
