It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene M. Speich (Rockton, Illinois), who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kind and Mabel Kind (Johnson). She is survived by: her husband Elmer Speich; her in-laws, Ruth Rasmussen (Raymond), Elroy Kind, Vernon Kind (Neva), Orlando Kind (Alvina) and Donna Hium (Kenneth); her brother Otto Kind, Jr. (Pat); and her children, Brian Speich (Thaô), Dawn Bielefeldt, Kerry Speich and Joy Shoemaker (Nick). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McCorkle Funeral Home (767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL 61072). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel (767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL 61072).
