With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Stieg Jr. of Rockton, Illinois, born in Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on April 6, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin F. Stieg, Sr. and Myrtle Pavlak (Hyser); his wife Barbara J. Pinkston; his son Gary Stieg; and his sister Fran Knight.

He is survived by : his children, Terry Stieg, Vicki DeBerry (Tom) and Todd Stieg; his grandchildren, Dalton Manley, Brittany Craten, Emily Kent (Daniel), Zachary, Olivia Stieg, Vincent Stieg and Rocco Stieg; and his great grandchild Elijah.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:20 PM at the McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel (767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL 61072). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
