He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Busker and Iris Valeria Busker; his wife Diane Kathleen Rippie; and his sister Eleanor Sudds. He is survived by: his sister Bertha Stogsdill; his daughters, Pamela, Susan, Nancy (Charlie) and Ann (Mark); and his grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Rachel, Sara, Shawn, Laura and Emily. He is also survived by spouses; and his 14 wonderful great grandchildren.
He held numerous patents, was instrumental in the development of the Extended Nip Press and was awarded the Gunnar Nicholson Gold Medal Award in 2002 for his contributions to the paper industry.
