We announce the death of Robert Louis Koenig of Rockton, Illinois, who passed away on August 31, 2026. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Koenig and Delores Koenig; his in-laws, Robert and Irene Kienzle; and his sister-in-law Susan Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Judy "Jude" Kienzle; his daughter Lisa Johnson (Jarrad); his grandchildren, Garrett, Grant, Grace and Gabriel Johnson; his sister Linda Norris (Paul); and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Malvik (Olav), Sandra Downing (Steven), Terry Kienzle and Lee Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his family for a memorial that will be established at a later date.
