He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wolter and Florence Wolter; his wife Gertrude Wolter; his son Scott Wolter; and his brothers, Roger Wolter and Pete Wolter.
He is survived by: his children, Stacey Carpenter (Mike) and Shawn Wolter; his grandchildren, Christoph Wolter, Caitlin Carpenter, Mackenzie Carpenter, Brad Wolter (Anna), Kyle Wolter and Adam Wolter; and his great grandchild Daniel Wolter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation in Bruce's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
