She was predeceased by: her parents, Master Sergeant John A. Protz and Jennifer S. Protz (Smith); her close friend Charlotte Mowrer; and her friend Colton G. Steiner. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Hardisty (Protz), Barbara Protz and John A. Protz Jr.; her children, Jonathan R. Childers, Amber R. Childers and Holly D. Marion (Childers); her stepson Timothy Bussiere; her grandchildren, Erin M. Childers, Karma R. Childers, Jonathan M. Childers, Michael J. Childers, Roxi Bussiere, Cody Bussiere, Nathan D. Palmer-Childers and Dylan J. Palmer-Childers; and her great grandchild Greyson L. Palmer-Childers. She is also survived by her two sisters and one brother.
