It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yong Choi of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Yong shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Yong farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tina Choi; his child Hyun Choi (Youhyei); and his grandchildren, Rhea, Luna and Hera Choi.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oehler Funeral Home (2099 Miner St, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
