It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marianne Higgins of Romeoville, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Zaworski and Mary Zaworski; her sons, Donald (Donnie) and James (Jimmy); and her siblings, Buddy, Dolly and Patsy.

She is survived by : her husband Charles (Chuck); her children, Patrick Peterka, Wendy Job, Valerie Ballard (Mike) and Dawn Peterka (Brian O'Donnell); her daughter-in-law Sandy Peterka (Donnie); her grandchildren, Melissa Andrews (Steven), Cody Peterka (Tiffany), Kendall Peterka Paige Peterka (Brett Shakespeare), Courtney Aldridge (Charlie), Ashley Job, Brittany Hanacek (Marcus), Emilee Medeisis (Cody), Mackenzie O'Neill (Sean), Brian O'Donnell (Sidney) and Mikey O'Donell; her great grandchildren, Alexis (Jeremy), Dylan, Valerie, Brayden, Sierra, Carson, Logan, Palmer, Elle, Levi, Adeline and Emmet; and her siblings, Stanley Zaworski (Joan) and Karen Gonsior (John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Memorial Home & Heartland Cremation Services (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544).
