It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Stoppenbach Sr. of Romeoville, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Stoppenbach; his parents, Clarence Stoppenbach and Jeanette Stoppenbach; and his brothers, Bill, Roy and Richard Stoppenbach.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Stoppenbach Jr. (Carolyn), Robyn Kranz (Lloyd) and Randall Stoppenbach; his grandsons, Keith, Gordon and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Robert, Rayna and Wade. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
