He is survived by: his children, Edwin Sweeten of White Hall, Tim Sweeten (Claudia) of Roodhouse and Jamison Sweeten of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Edwin II, JaNece, Alex, Olivia and Marcus Sweeten; his great grandchildren, Mya, Ava, Jayden, Lynnlee, Wesley, Catherin and Cameron Sweeten; and his great great grandchild Kolter Sweeten.
