He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Grizzle and Ora Grizzle (Lyles); and his siblings, Charles (Bud), George (John), Joseph (Joe), Alvin, Ralph, Evelyn, Dorothy, Vera and Ruby Mae.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Williams; his children, Richard Grizzle (Joyce) of Roodhouse, Russell Grizzle (Debbie) of Roodhouse, Patricia Greenwood (Roger) of Jacksonville and Penny White (Brian) of Gillespie; his grandchildren, Nicole Frank (Don) of Cave Creek, AZ, Heather Mayer (James) of Carbondale, Alissa Frank (Matt) of Greenfield, Christine Symes (B. J.) of Carrollton, Kerry Eller (Melissa) of Springfield, Amber Benz (Quintin) of Murrayville, Kasey Eller of Gillespie and Zachary Grizzle of Murrayville; his great grandchildren, Andrew, Erik, Leah, Ian Frank, Braeden, Avery Mayer, Lainey, Presley Frank, Lillian, Landen Hazelwood, Mason and Navaeh Benz; and his grandsons, Tayler and Tyler Holler.
