With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores W. Harp of Roodhouse, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Weir Lynn and Mabel Elizabeth Dickerson Lynn; her husband R. Merle Harp; her sister Georgeanne Marine; her sons, Randy and Richard Harp; and her grandchildren, Chloe Murphy of Zeke Alexander, T. J and Kerr Ballard.
She is survived by: her daughters, LynAnne Ballard (Jim) of White Hall, Beth Huffines (Charles) of Roodhouse and Dixie Harp (Don Burton) of White Hall; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Harp of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Amber Bruns, Amy Clanton, Wes Ballard, Barbi Ballard, Maddison Goedeker, Cody Huffines, Lauren Huffines, Dustin Woods, Scott Cardwell, Leighton Harp, Chelsey Barnes and Tabby Long; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Denny and Donna Harp. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Manchester Cemetery, Roodhouse Public Library or The Chloe Foundation.
