He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vinyard and Mildred Crabtree Vinyard. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Powell (Tim) of Winchester and Clint Vinyard (Kiley) of Arenzville; his grandchildren, Ellie and Kenzie; his sister Jo Hall (late Ted) of Lindale; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff, Jenny, Cindy and Chris.
