It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kevin Douglas Knight of Roodhouse, Illinois, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Knight and Mildred Lorena Spencer Knight; his son Keith Knight; and his grandson Charles D. Knight. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Jr. Knight (Shelby Toye) of Iowa and Kurt Knight (Christina Floyd) of Roodhouse; his grandchildren, Kaiden Coleman, Kevin Knight III, Meka Knight and Lily Knight; and his sister Kem Wilson of Jacksonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Airsman - Hires Funeral Home - Roodhouse (102 W Clay St, Roodhouse, IL 62082). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at the Fernwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
