With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Ridings (Roodhouse, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ridings and Helen Ridings (Capps); and his brother-in-law Eric Heikes. He is survived by: his girlfriend Wendy Martin (Kline) of Springfield; his children, Patrick Martin (Gwen) of Winter Garden and Lyndsi Reid (Adam) of Rochester; his sister Sarah Heikes (Ridings) of Petersburg; his niece Katie Heikes; his nephew Will Heikes; and his grandchildren, Jack, Beck, Lily, Mick, Ryan and Chase.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, North Greene Food Pantry (White Hall), or a local cat rescue of your choice.
