He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Andrew, Christine Nelson, Kenneth and Vesta Sproule; his niece McKenna Ann Miller; and his aunts and uncles, Arlo, Reinelda Nelson, Bonnie Insko, Sylvianne Moes and David Sproule.
He is survived by: his parents, Butch Nelson and Joann Nelson; his sisters, Tabatha "Tabby" Nelson-Miller, Andrea "Anna" Nelson and Shannon Nelson; his nephew AJ Miller; and his cousins, Danny Curley, Nick Sproule and Baby Norman. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home (11342 Main St, Roscoe, IL 61073). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
