He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Armstrong (Natalie) and Drew Armstrong; his granddaughter Lillian; his siblings, Bob, Carol Heck (Steve) of Rockford, IL and Gary Armstrong (Patricia); and his nieces and nephews, Robert "Bobby" Armstrong, Jr. (Angela), Nicole Rehberg (Sean), Jordan Heck, Jarrett Heck, Nicholas Armstrong and Mark Armstrong. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established by the family.
