It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Carr of Roscoe, Illinois, born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Zimmerman and Angela Zimmerman (Kammer); her children, Sandy Visgar and David Adams; her stepchildren, Glenn Thrasher, Robert Carr, Carol Scott and Sharon Wallis; her grandchildren, Jamie Blakley, Berley "Moose" Visgar and Tara Visgar; and her brother Leonard Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Carr; her daughter Cathy Blakley of Janesville, WI; her stepchildren, Sandy Thrasher Lavrenz, Linda Thrasher Linneman, Tammy Langand, Christine Evans, Dan Carr and Ricky Carr; her granddaughters, Shelly Garthwaite (Dan) and Tami Visgar; her stepgrandchildren, Wendy Myhres, Jodi Ewers, Rick Deadmond and Chris Deadmond; and her great grandchildren, David Cole Kline and Madison Kline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
