He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lindsey and Nellie Lindsey; his wife Dixie Lee Whetsel; and his sister Lois Calhoun. He is survived by: his sister Margaret Adams; his daughters, Carol Johnson (Wayne), Sue Lindsey and Jeanne Fauerbach (Fred); and his grandchildren, Lindsey Bruntz (Cody), Melissa Edson (Donny), Michael Fauerbach (Taylor) and Lindsey Wall (Cameron).
