She was predeceased by: her father John Weeks; her son James Ian McBain; her mother Elaine Akerlund; and her brothers-in-law, Don Gwaltney and Steve Lane.

She is survived by: her children, Joel McBain (Georgia) and Jordan McBain; her grandchildren, Jett McBain, Jagger McBain and Luna; her sisters, Jan Gwaltney, Julie Callaway (Cal) and Jeana Lane; her stepmother Jean Weeks; and her stepsiblings, Shannon Johnson (Greg) and Todd Kurth (Tori). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
