In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Bittrick and Helen Bittrick; his sister Jean Stahr; and his son Mark Bittrick. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bittrick; his son Dr. Jon Bittrick (Christina) of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Madelyn and Finn Bittrick of Greenville; his children, Barry (Cathy), Brian Bittrick and Jill Torres (Pedro); and his daughter-in-law Karla Bittrick. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Heritage Baptist Church (12848 Willowbrook Rd, Roscoe, IL 61073). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
