He was predeceased by: his parents, Adele Brown Ward and John Ward; and his brother Irish. He is survived by: his wife Sandi Ward (Schluter); his children, Bryant Ward and Brooke Ward; his grandchildren, Chloe, Josie and Riley Ward; his sister-in-law Eileen Ward; and his cousin Julie Brown.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roscoe United Methodist Church (10816 Main St, Roscoe, IL 61073).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in John's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
