She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bruce Swartz and Helyn Swartz (Casper); her former husband Karl Smiley; her siblings, Sharon Keenan and Bruce Swartz; her boyfriend Adam Prymak; her children, Barbara Macelli (Mickey), Kathleen Hughes (Shannon), Sharon Blair (Brent) and Bradley Gummow; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Natalie, Audrey, Harrison and Artella; and her brother Brian Swartz.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to cherished local charities such as The Old Stone Church Pantry in Rockton, Don't Be Next Foundation in Rockton, the Barbara Olson Center of Hope in Rockford, or the Rockford Rescue Mission.
