We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lois R. Hunt of Roscoe, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Sjostrom and Florence Sjostrom; her brothers, Robert and John Sjostrom; her stepson Steve Hunt; her sister-in-law Joyce Sjostrom; her daughter Amy Taylor; and her much loved Maitai.

She is survived by: her husband William Hunt; her children, Steve Taylor (Janet), Jeff Taylor (Patti), Roxanne Pileggi (Paul) and Toni Taylor; her stepchildren, Jim Hunt (Kari), Tom Hunt and Debbie Hunt; her grandchildren, Kacie Rutz (Matt), Scott Taylor (Kelly), Maddie Palmer (Tommy), Katherine Taylor, Allison Taylor (Tyler Kaberg), Brett Taylor, Jorey Taylor, Jamie Taylor, Amity Taylor, Alicia Alvarez (Chris) and PauI Pileqgi; her niece JuIie Roberts (Roger); and her caregiver Brianna. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home-Roscoe Chapel (11342 Main St, Roscoe, IL 61073). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
