With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Alice Ocker of Roscoe, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Alice left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Dirst and Dixie Pauline Ratliff Dirst; and her siblings, George Earl Dirst and Georgianne Weitemeyer. She is survived by: her husband Jerold Reed Ocker; her brother James Arthur Dirst II; her daughters, Diana Sancya (Paul), Linda Rynbrandt (Ronald), Alisa Liu (Kai) and Brenda Wozniak (Mark); and her grandchildren, Lauren, James, Sean, Thomas, Ian, Kaitlin, Matthew and Katherine.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Roscoe United Methodist Church (10816 Main St, Roscoe, IL 61073). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
