She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Varner and Lila Varner (Penewell); her husband John Laursen Sr.; her children, Kathy Esselman, Cindy Lee and John Laursen Jr.; her grandson Joshua Esselman; her great grandchildren, Duncan and Draven Laursen; and her siblings, Virginia Pann and Jack Varner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gay Jack (Tim) of Rockton, IL and Sue Yee (Paul) of Niles, IL; her son-in-law Will Lee of Kenosha, WI; and her grandchildren, Erica Esselman, Amy McGough (Will), Jared Wallen (Raquel), Michael Laursen (Rosa), Aaron Laursen (Laura), Courtney Beeler (David), Samantha Yee (Sam), Anna Yee (Ed), Jacob Lee (Maddie) and Joel Lee. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
