He is survived by: his wife Rachel Honquest; his children, Richard (Robyn), David (Roberta), Timothy Armin Honquest (Rachel) and Julie Smith (Jeff); his siblings, Bill, Jim Honquest and Diane Whitaker; and his grandchildren, Tess James, Jared Honquest, Richard Honquest (Katelyn), Lizzy Zielinski (Brian), Cole Honquest, Brennan Repp, Taylor Repp (Brogan), Zachary Honquest, Zoe Rivera (Ryan), Joshua Smith (Jennifer), Eileen Smith and Nathaniel Smith. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
