She is survived by: her husband Dennis Tonak; her children, Lisa Van Dyke (Tom) of Glendale Heights, IL, Carina Tonak of Rockton, IL, Brian Tonak of Roscoe, IL, Nathan Tonak of Machesney Park, IL and Matthew Tonak of Roscoe, IL; her grandchild Kati Tonak of Roscoe, IL; her siblings, Marie Brock (Jerry), Joyce Catt and Dean Peine (Cherie) of Oswego, KS; and her siblings-in-law, Sandi Peine of Olathe, KS, Connie Peine of Welda, KS, LeeAnn Tonak of Minneapolis, MN, Lynette Tonak of Cincinnati, OH, Lori Tonak of Kimball, SD, LaDonna Tonak of Sioux Falls, SD, David Tonak of Sundance, WY, Darryl Tonak of Ortonville, MN and Dan Tonak of Willow Lake, SD. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCorkle Funeral Home (767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL 61072). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1305 Blackhawk Blvd, South Beloit, IL 61080).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made in Ruthann's memory to Faith Lutheran Church, Beloit Health System Foundation, American Heart Association or National Kidney Foundation.
