It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicky L. Cooling of Roscoe, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vicky L. Cooling to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Robare and Christena Robare (Trussoni); her husband Peter James Cooling; and her brother Lawrence Robare. She is survived by: her children, Tina Gilman (Adam) and Anthony Cooling (Danielle); her grandsons, Lucas, Isaac, Aiden and Rowyn; and her siblings, Char Hager (John), Ron Robare, Jackie Fiese (Mike), Pam Sockness (Dave), Michelle Robare, Deb Robare (Curtis), Rick Robare, Shawn Robare (Kim), Nichole Morris (Cliff), Bridget Balsley (Dan), Jeffrey Robare and Joel Robare. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter (1243 N Church St, Rockford, IL 61103). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
