He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dr. Evelyn S. MacQueen; his children, Pat MacQueen (Kevin Collins) and Rich MacQueen (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Joseph Collins (Kelly Cerrone), Anna MacQueen (Anthony Cole), Sarah MacQueen and Rachel MacQueen.
