He was predeceased by: his daughter Jovy Reyes (Francis); and his parents, Generoso Escanilla and Concepcion Escanilla. He is survived by: his spouse Genelda; his children, Arnold Escanilla (Elsie) and Cecilia Vidal (Edwin); his grandchildren, Madelaine (Jean), Brian (Lyn), Franz, Lester, Krizelda (Sean), Ivan, Patrick and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Brix, Chloe, Brent and Michael; and his pet Barker.
