With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cannie Imogene Smith of Rosiclare, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her former husband Jack Summers; her husband Rev. Eschol Smith, Jr.; her parents, John Davis and Melissa Davis; and her brother Jimmy Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy B. Summers of Rosiclare, IL and Johnny Summers of Rosiclare, IL; her grandchildren, Ashley and Megan; her great grandchildren, Aniyah and Anzley; and her sister Bessie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the First Apostolic Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fluorine Cemetery.
