With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendell Morton Nickell (Rosiclare, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Nickell and Genevie Nickell; his son Geoffrey Nickell; and his siblings, Velma Snyder, Rita Collins, Phyllis Holsten and Ralph Douglas Nickell.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Nickell of Marion, KY; his stepsons, Jeff Bowers (Holly) and Joe Bowers (Erin) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Chloe, Riley, Kieran, Emma and Alex; and his sister Ann Thomas of West Liberty, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
