It is with sadness that the passing of Charles Ambrose Kentner of Rossville, Illinois is shared. Charles, born on June 29, 1952, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lloyd and Nola Ellen Kentner (Wylder); his son Jacob Wayne; and his brother-in-law Denny Armbrust. He is survived by: his daughter Becky Jean Drennan (Shawn) of Rossville, IL; his sisters, Sue Seymour (Lonnie) of Miami, FL, Rita Armbrust of Salem, IL, Debbie Craig (Clif) of McHenry, IL and Dianna Gernand (Larry) of Potomac, IL; his grandchildren, Morgan Hunsinger (Klaytin) of Rossville, IL and Tristen Drennan of Rossville, IL; and his great grandchild Liam Hunsinger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Charlie to the Rossville United Methodist Church, the Bismarck FFA Alumni Association, or to the donor's choice.
