He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Gilbert and Geraldine Gilbert (Moehring); his sisters, Pat Beckner (Tom) of Rossville, IL and Rhonda Gilbert of Rossville, IL; his nephews, Justin Beckner (Dana) and John Beckner (Amber); his niece Paige Cook; his grandparents, Dee, Jessie Gilbert, Arthur and Gladys Cartier; his siblings, Linda Lou and Louis Dee Gilbert; and his great-great-grandparents, Alvan Gilbert and Alvin. He was also cherished by four great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (427 E Main St, Hoopeston, IL 60942). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
