She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bechtel and Sue Bechtel; her husband Larry Wayne Smith; and her siblings, Jim, Bonnie and Sherry.
She is survived by: her sisters, Esther, Patricia and Cathy; and her children, Joseph Smith (Lorraine), Michelle Strickland (Shannon) and Jaclyn Vatistas (Demetrios). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
