It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karol Sue Derfus of Round Lake, Illinois, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Winston Small and Mary Small; and her grandson Timmy Swanson. She is survived by : her children, Mike Derfus (Kathy) of Kenosha, WI, Duane Derfus Jr. (Susie) of West Virginia, Melissa Keclik (Bill) of Woodstock, IL and Vivian Janke (Joe Sr.) of Ingleside, IL; her grandchildren, Megan Carter (Allen Thompson), Heather Dunivan, Theresa Janke Lively (Wade) and Joe Janke Jr. (Ashley); her great grandchildren, John, Abigail, Austen, Aubrey, Arron, Mia and Isabella; and her sister Judy Elyea (Don) of St. Cloud, MN..
