We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 73, Kenneth Philip Dohm of Round Lake, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Kenneth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kenneth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie; his children, Kendall Miller (Brett) and Tory Flannery (Nick); and his siblings, Robert (Cynthia), Lila Schauwecker (late Kenneth), Kevin (Dianna) and Mike (Julie).

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simkins Funeral Home (6251 Dempster St, Morton Grove, IL 60053-2818). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

“I was honored to have worked with Ken at the Lake County Forest Preserve Police. He was a great guy, always smiling and cheerful. I feel blessed that he came to our "Retired Rangers" luncheon two months ago. He will be greatly missed. May God comfort Ken's family and may He welcome Ken into His Kingdom.”
