In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Reyes had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Reyes may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his parents, Reyes Atilano and Maricela Ortiz (Jose Gonzalez); his grandparents, Jovita Acosta and Baldomero Ortiz; and his siblings, Monica Cano and Sergio Atilano. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Strang Funeral Chapel (410 E Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Community Church (1001 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046).
