He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyatt Murphy and Helen Ann Sowatzke; and his brother Charles Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Ryan (Haley Lafferty) of Round Lake, IL, Jessica Murphy and Shawn Murphy; his grandchildren, Hunter Murphy, Colt Murphy, Beau Murphy and Wayne Murphy; and his siblings, Patrick Murphy of Vernon Hills and Brenda Murphy of Summerfield, FL..
