He is survived by: his children, Teri Glidewell (Wil) of Manchester, Missouri and Scott Groppel (Mitzi) of Eldred, Illinois; his grandchildren, Abby Lancaster (Steve) and Heath Groppel; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Leah and John Lancaster; and his siblings, Thomas Groppel of Fieldon, Illinois and Janet Heigert of Wood River, Illinois.. He is also survived by friends, neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Family Hospice.
