She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Hunter and Dorothy Hunter (Edwards); her husband Herb Frerichs; and her daughters, Lori and Judy.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Loschen (Mark) of Royal and Tim Frerichs (Teri) of St. Joseph; her grandchildren, Shannon, Jamie (Erin), Beth (Greg), Josh (Jen), Timbra (Paul), Alyssa (Trever), Thea, Kristin, Tenneal (Griffin) and Kenna; her stepgrandsons, Travis (Megan) and Brandon; and her sister Kay Fiscus. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (203 Church St, Royal, IL 61871). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
