He was predeceased by: his son Justin Shain; and his sister Michelle Davison. He is survived by: his parents, David Shain of Royalton and Patricia Shain (Neely); his children, Heather Gillespie (Bobby) of Pensacola, FL and Marcus Snyder of Marion, IL; his grandchildren, Skyler Winchester (Tyler), Gracie Dowdy, Zach Barnes, Jordan Barnes, Gabe Barnes and Noah Barnes; his great grandchildren, Luka Winchester and Bowen Gillespie; his sister Cyndi Brooks (Phil) of Mulkeytown; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to Lighthouse Church of Royalton and will be accepted at the funeral home.
